Secure Ideas is excited to announce that I will be speaking as part of a panel later this month.  On January 30th in Denver, Colorado, the Addressing the Real Issues Around Compliance in the Cloud panel will be held at Mile High Station.  This panel will run from 4pm to 6pm.

Faced with HIPAA, PCI, FISMA and much more, CIOs and their IT teams need to proactively manage their compliance and security. Assessing compliance requirements, the role of service providers BAs and much more are now within the domain of the CIO. You need to be ready.

The panel will discuss:

  • capitalizing on the benefits of the cloud while maintaining compliance
  • separation of responsibility with service providers
  • building a layered compliance approach
  • how your CIO peers are managing their compliance
The panel will be moderated by Andy Schroepfer and include Jason Carolann, CTO of ViaWest, Jeff Pelot, CIO of Denver Health Hospital, Steve Oberg, CISO of DaVita, and Kevin Johnson, CEO of Secure Ideas.
