About Doug

Doug Bigalke is Director of Operations at Secure Ideas. He leads the company’s infrastructure and operations, from IT and cloud environments to vendor relationships, facilities, and purchasing. He also oversees the compliance program, with a focus on keeping internal systems secure, documented, and well run. His cloud experience across AWS and Azure supports that work.

Doug has been with Secure Ideas for over a decade. He still performs penetration tests, security architecture reviews, and vulnerability assessments, and that hands-on background shapes how he runs operations. Internal systems are held to the same standard Secure Ideas applies to its clients.

Doug’s colleagues often describe him as the “salt of the earth,” noting his down-to-earth nature and strong work ethic. Outside the confines of his professional life, Doug is an avid robotics enthusiast. His passion for building robots is peppered with a fascination for machine learning, a testament to his curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow continuously
