About Kathy
Kathy Collins is a Senior Security Consultant at Secure Ideas, where she specializes in a wide range of penetration testing, from physical to web applications. She’s a contributor to the Secure Ideas knowledge center, webcasts, trainings, and BSides Jax. Kathy studied Cybersecurity at Fullstack Academy New York and has earned certifications including the CISSP, PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
Her diverse background includes 20 years in non-profit, education, and corporate roles within the hospitality industry, enriching her approach to security. Kathy has presented at ShowMeCon, Sunshine Cyber Con, as well as through local Jacksonville speaking engagements and online presentations.
